Chinese Character Writing Reference Resource
Spoken Chinese is not difficult. But writing is found by most people (yes, including Chinese people) difficult. Pupils in China have to spend hours practicing writing in order to memorize the characters plus the order of their strokes. As a teacher, I find it hard to teach students the order of strokes especially because asking them follow my writing on the board is always effective. Without a bit more practice afterward, they forget it quickly.
Luckily I found a great resource which lists writing orders of all the common Chinese characters. The characters are categorized alphabetically (pinyin) so it is easy for teachers and students to access. All the writing are flash, it is really handy to watch and follow the stroke orders.
